Rivy Update: Open Heart #3 - Update 2 -

It's been a couple weeks now since we got admitted. It took Rivy quite a few days to get back to her baseline but IV diuretics have helped her get back to tolerating feeds and breathing comfortably. We've been monitoring her electrolytes and keeping a close eye on her heart rate/beats as they've been irregular. After some very challenging administrative setbacks, we finally have hospital stay and transport approval for Boston. Now the only thing we need is a bed for Rivy at Boston Children's Hospital. Matthew and Nathan will be driving up with our gear once we have a travel plan.

We are now working on housing near the hospital. We're applying for everthing they have available but it's such a high-traffic program there isn't much available. If anyone has any Boston connections, colleagues, or family we're open - please let us know!  

On the progressive care floor Rivy is doing well now and they finally made her an official badge!
