Two days later I’m finding a few minutes to share that we flew home Tuesday morning!

The flight was uneventful thankfully! Since we’ve been home we’ve been working and working to get Rivy set up for her new rhythms, reinstated with services, and ready for follow ups and resumptions next week.

Nathan has LOVED being home with his Bibi (nanny) and Biba (Matthew’s mom) and is living his best life playing the days away.

Grandma Kathy departs this weekend but not before we have a celebratory send-off for her tomorrow. She has been the backbone of this whole deal 🥰 The kids will miss her so very much.

Going forward I will continue to share updates on Rivy’s heart of hope journey and medical complexity/trauma resources 💫
