🤍 Riverlyn 🤍 - Update 7 -

A few more updates on the heels of the email last night: 

RIVERLYN

- She’ll be getting the feeding tube back in so we are paying her reflux stays minimal.

- The blood transfusion didn’t impact her valve so she’s now under review for surgery. The cardiologists will meet next Tuesday morning to discuss her case but her mitral stenosis is in the severe category. 

Just after this news we found out…

NATHAN 

Our little buddy won’t be continuing at preschool for the remainder of the school year. He’s been grappling with some sensory seeking behaviors and they’ve escalated recently. The school has gone to every effort to help him; it’s just one of those things. 

In the meantime…

MATTHEW 

Somewhere in the past day Matthew tweaked his lower back and is in pretty severe pain. 

As for me…I’m continually recalibrating the vision for our pathway forward as a family as we see Rivy through these challenges and each sacrifice for one another. 

Though my tears abound, I’ve been graced with buoyancy in this wake. 🛟
