🤍 Riverlyn 🤍 - Update 4 -

Good evening loved ones, 

Riverlyn had some of her strongest moments yet today! They are so so so welcome on the heels of two very challenging days. Rivy was extremely lethargic for two days in a row and it had everyone stumped so they started running tests...a cranial ultrasound, another heart echo, tons of labs, respiratory panel, inflammation indicators, and more...we are still waiting for some of the results but so far just about everything has checked out and her liveliness today is a great encouragement. We are still looking for her to gain weight (she has lost weight the past 2 days as well) and gain reslilence with feeding (especially orally). With the two wild card days we seem to be coming out of and the feeding piece there's still no picture of a time frame for coming home. 

In that, I am at the hospital (Levine Children's Hospital) 24-7. I am definitely tired but keeping my eye on the prize. Matthew is currently fulltime mom and dad to Nathan while tending to the house and household and, of course, continuing his consulting responsibilities. When we spoke today we both just called it...this has been and continues to be really hard - yet we have HOPE.

Thank you ALL so much for walking this out with us. Your support is making the difference (truly truly). It is changing us to see how God is working through you. I will send another update when we have more info on her recent tests and when we see her forward progress with weight and eating.
