👶🏼 It's go time! - Update -

Update - this morning during routine screenings the nurses found some inconsistencies. Upon further investigation they discovered that Riverlyn's heart has a narrow section of the aorta (known as coarctation). She has been transferred to the NICU and is stable at the moment. At birth there is another pathway that carries blood that closes after birth. Because they caught this early they can keep that pathway open while assessing the coarctation and next steps which will likely be surgical - we are waiting to hear from the neo-cardio team. 

We are staying as present as possible and keeping our eyes where they belong as each moment unfolds. Our ask is that for those praying people you'd listen with us and for us. Many of us on this email have seen, lived, and/or prayed in miracles (even and especially those involving healing). We will keep you all posted as best we can going forward. Our hope is wholly in God for:

- Riverlyn's complete heart healing

- My (lindsay's) continued healing from the caesarean

- Nathan's peace as we've been away from him this week

- Matthew's rest as he champions our family in faith
